Exterior
The Expedition is available in 10 different trim levels. The exterior is rugged and has a redesigned front and rear end. It includes features like roof-rack side rails, running boards, and a manual liftgate with lift glass. Privacy glass for the second row, third row, and liftgate are standard. A solar-tinted windshield and and front door windows prevent glare.
Interior
The base model of the Expedition provides seating for five while all other models provide seating for seven to eight passengers. Cloth upholstery is standard for the base as is an 8-way adjustable driver’s seat. Upper level models include features like massaging front seats and noise cancellation.
Infotainment
The Explorer comes with the infotainment technology and the Ford Connect system. It offers hands-free connectivity, is Bluetooth enabled, and allows drivers to make calls, get directions, and play music. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto make wireless connectivity easy. A 15.5-inch touchscreen allows drivers to see applications at a glance.
Safety
The Ford Co-Pilot360 system is a collection of safety features that are standard. These driver-assistance features make driving easier.
